# Dedicated data centre suites & halls

Canonical source: https://rivermarkproperty.com/services/dedicated-data-centre-space/

Find private data-centre space for a larger or more specific deployment. We compare the operator’s proposed space, capacity, delivery assumptions and commercial information, then introduce you to the options you choose.

## How we help.

- Define the space, location, initial capacity and later phases with your team.
- Identify operators to approach about a private suite or hall.
- Gather proposals showing what is included, who supplies the fit-out and what remains to be confirmed.
- Compare the responses and coordinate introductions for further commercial and technical review.

### Who this is for

- A business considering a dedicated suite or hall within an existing facility.
- A team that needs clear control over access, layout or its installation boundary.
- An occupier planning capacity in stages rather than taking every cabinet at once.

### Typical enquiries

- A business comparing a larger private cage with a dedicated suite.
- A deployment that needs a defined private hall and agreed fit-out responsibilities.
- An occupier seeking initial space with a separately documented expansion arrangement.

## Compare what is being offered.

The name of the product does not establish the space, capacity or services included in a proposal.

### The space and its boundary

Ask for a plan and a description of the area offered to your business.

- Distinguish your installation area from shared circulation and service areas.
- Confirm permitted layouts and who can access each part of the space.
- Ask which storage, loading or support areas are included or separately charged.

### Ready to occupy, or work still to do?

Record the works and approvals needed between an offer and an accepted installation.

- Separate operator work from customer fit-out and equipment installation.
- Identify each party’s responsibility for power, cooling and connectivity interfaces.
- Ask for milestones and the conditions attached to proposed delivery dates.

### Taking capacity in stages

Future expansion needs its own description and commercial terms.

- Separate capacity available now from capacity that may be available later.
- Ask whether additional space or power is reserved, optional or subject to a new agreement.
- Identify when charges begin and what commitment each stage would require.

## Tell us the essentials.

Share what you know. We can discuss the rest.

- The type of private space, rack count or usable area you expect to need.
- Initial and future power requirements, with proposed dates for each phase.
- Layout, security, access and operational requirements.
- Your cooling, connectivity and fit-out brief, including appointed technical advisers.
- Target locations, preferred commitment length, budget and required availability.

### Before work starts

We discuss the property requirement, the work and the fees with you. Those are agreed in writing before Rivermark starts work or contacts anyone about a property.

## Common questions.

### How is a suite different from a cage?

A cage is generally a partitioned installation area; a suite or hall is a more substantial private area. Operators use these terms differently. The plan, access arrangements, services and agreement establish what is actually offered.

### Is there a minimum capacity for this service?

We do not publish a universal minimum. Tell us the requirement and we will discuss whether a dedicated-space search is the right approach. Operators set their own product sizes and commitments.

### Can future space be guaranteed?

Only the operator’s agreed terms can establish a reservation or expansion right. We ask what is committed, what is indicative and which dates or conditions apply.

### Who reviews the agreement and design?

Your legal and technical advisers review the proposed agreement, design and acceptance requirements. Rivermark finds options, gathers information and arranges the relevant conversations.
