Anti-bribery policy.
Rivermark Property Ltd has zero tolerance for bribery and corruption in its property work and business relationships.
Our position
Rivermark will not offer, promise, give, request or accept a bribe, kickback, secret commission or facilitation payment. No person may use an introducer, contractor, supplier or other intermediary to do something that Rivermark prohibits.
Reasonable business hospitality is only acceptable when it is lawful, modest, infrequent, transparent, for a genuine business purpose and not intended to influence a decision improperly. Cash and cash-equivalent gifts are not accepted.
Property decisions and public bodies
A gift, payment, favour, donation, sponsorship or other advantage must never be used to influence an instruction, property decision, permission, approval, tender or other competitive process. Dealings with public officials, councils and public bodies receive additional review.
Introducers and third-party costs
Fee-bearing referral and introducer arrangements must be written, commercially genuine, conflict-checked, supported by accurate records and disclosed to the relevant client before a referral where Rivermark may receive or pay a connected benefit.
Rivermark does not add an undisclosed mark-up to a third-party cost. Any administration charge, margin, rebate, commission or other economic benefit connected with that cost must be agreed and disclosed before the cost is incurred.
People acting for Rivermark
Employees, contractors, consultants, researchers, introducers, referrers, agents and subcontractors acting for Rivermark must follow proportionate due-diligence, written-term, approval, payment and record-keeping controls. Rivermark may pause or end an arrangement where a concern is unresolved.
Raise a concern
Report a suspected bribe, unusual payment request, hidden commission or other concern promptly to enquiries@rivermarkproperty.com, or write to Rivermark Property Ltd, 133 Whitmore Road, Harrow, England, HA1 4AG. A person who honestly refuses a bribe or raises a concern will not be penalised for doing so.
Where immediate danger or suspected crime is involved, contact the relevant emergency service or authority. Rivermark may seek independent advice and refer a matter to an insurer or appropriate authority.
Responsibility and review
Elia Samir Yousf, director, owns Rivermark's anti-bribery controls, approvals, records and review. The policy is reviewed at least annually and earlier after a concern or material change in risk.
Policy adopted and last reviewed: 22 August 2026.
