Data centre advisory.

Find the space for your computing infrastructure. We identify facility options, compare provider information and arrange introductions around your location, capacity and timing.

A clearer comparison.

Understand what each provider has offered and which points still need an answer.

The agreed requirement
Locations, space, capacity, timing and the constraints supplied by your team.
The operator’s response
The proposed space, services, charging basis, delivery assumptions and any conditions.
The next conversation
The options you want to pursue, the questions for each operator and the introductions to arrange.

Technical suitability and contractual commitments are confirmed by your team, the operator and appointed advisers.

Start with what you know.

Tell us what you want to deploy, the locations you would consider and when the space is needed. Include rack count, power and cooling details if you have them.

For a move or expansion, add the existing commitments and the gap you need to resolve. We agree the brief, approach and fees with you before work starts.

Prepare your brief

Understand the options.

Practical reading before you approach a provider.

Prepare a data-centre brief.

An early outline is enough to start. A useful brief separates what your team knows, what is flexible and what an operator still needs to confirm.

Colocation or rented compute?

Start with what you need to access: a place for your equipment, or computing capacity from a provider. That decision changes the brief and the people who need to assess it.

Before we start.

What does your advisory work cover?

We help define the facility search, find options, compare information supplied by providers and arrange introductions. The specific work and fees are agreed before we approach anyone.

Can we begin with an early requirement?

Yes. Tell us the purpose, possible locations and timing. Identify what is fixed and what your team still needs to establish. Capacity and technical details can follow as the brief develops.

Who checks the technical and contractual fit?

Your technical team and the operator confirm the hardware, power, cooling, connectivity and operating requirements. Your appointed advisers review the agreement. Rivermark keeps the information and outstanding questions clear during the search.

Do you operate facilities or sell compute?

No. Rivermark finds physical data-centre space and makes introductions. The operator provides the facility services; hardware and rented computing arrangements sit with the relevant providers.

Tell us what you’re planning.

Share the location, space and timing. Include capacity if known.
